Description
This Dovo 201-004 Black Shavette Adaptor Sleeve holds the 2-1/2″ blade for the Dovo Shavette. The Shavette works like a straight razor, but the blade can be changed as it becomes dull. The removable black plastic sleeve, which firmly holds the long razor blade, slides into the aluminum shank of the Shavette. Dovo makes this in Solingen, Germany.
A black sleeve automatically comes with Shavette Dov201-081BK. ANY Shavette handle can hold either the clear sleeve (for the short 1-3/4″ blade) or the black sleeve (for the longer 2-1/2″ blade.) The long German-style razor blade must be broken in half to fit in a Shavette. The Shavette uses one-half of a double-edge razor blade.
