Mail-In Knife Sharpening for up to 8 knives. Customers will receive a box with instructions, packing materials, and a UPS Ground pre-paid shipping label. The price of $61.50 covers everything needed to ship your knives from your home to our store and back to you. This package includes all the necessary shipping costs.

With this package,  the Mail-In Knife Sharpening for up to 8 knives, you may send us up to 8 kitchen knives of any size.

PLEASE NOTE:  As a local customer you may not want to use this service as it does include shipping costs. Local customers may drop-off any number of knives at our location at 4207 Shelbyville Rd

Turn-around for knife sharpening is generally 7 to 10 days. However, store volume and time of year may affect that. Please call for updates.  In addition, all sharpening is done here in the store.

Furthermore, Carl sharpens more than knives. He also sharpens all types of scissors, lawn tools, for example pruners, hedge shears and loper. We call or text as soon as your sharpening order is ready. There are times that your knives may be ready earlier depending on our volume. A shorter lead time may be available by paying a Rush Fee to be determined at the time the item or items are dropped off. Local drop-off sharpening is priced per knife and varies according to the length of blade and style.

The Mail-In Knife Sharpening for up to 8 knives.does NOT include sharpening for scissors, pruners, shears, etc., although we sharpen those items. In addition he also sharpens clipper blades, sheep shears and repairs clippers. Please call us for pricing. This mail-in service is only for kitchen knives.
