These WASA WA999 LH Cuticle true left hand scissors with nickel-plating. The blades are thin and curved. Only “True” left-hand scissors have blades completely re-oriented for the left handed person. Heimerdinger imports these directly from Wasa in Solingen, Germany.
The WASA WA999 LH Cuticle Scissors measures 3-1/2″ in total length. The blades cut 3/4″. Compared to a nail scissors, these cuticle scissors are smaller. Being smaller makes them more delicate. Indeed cutting the nails with the scissors intended for cuticles can loosen the screw or break the scissors. Nail scissors are sturdier, with a larger, stronger screw and shank.
These WASA WA999 LH Cuticle Scissors are not stainless steel. As a matter of fact, this means the edge will rust in moist conditions. Store the scissors in a dry area. Furthermore, we recommend drying the scissors if exposed to moisture. Rust may affect their quality performance.
