Wusthof 4149 Classic Bread Knife 8″
The WÜSTHOF Classic Bread Knife has a black triple-riveted handle and a blade length of 8″. Only a blade with a serrated (scalloped) edge slices easily through crisp or crunchy bread crusts, and also crusty pot roasts. A good quality bread knife thinly slices warm bread straight from the oven — hard on the outside, soft on the inside. A serrated edge will also cut meat, of course, but will not produce as even a slice as a carving knife.
