The DR-322070 LH Sewing Scissor is a true left hand scissor. It is nickel-plated with straight blades which are appropriate for thicker materials or multi-layer work. They are also for general trimming. Additionally, the straight blades are excellent for general household use. They measure 7″ in total length. Heimerdinger imports these directly from Dreiturm in Solingen, Germany.
One finger ring is larger than the other to allow a stronger grip for heavier cutting applications. “True” left-hand scissors have blades completely re-oriented for the left handed person. Conversely some scissors have contoured the handles for the left hand.
