The Dexter-Russell 10483 Oyster Knife has a 2-3/4 inch stainless steel blade. The white handle is a Sani-Safe® handle. This high-impact white “Grip-Tex” polypropylene handle is slip-resistant. The handle is also safe and withstands high and low temperatures. The Dexter-Russell product number is S126PCP.
This Dexter-Russell 10463 Oyster Knife is Providence Pattern. This knife is comparable to the New Haven pattern featuring a short, wide, straight blade. It also has a long pear shaped handle. The Providence has a flat blade with no upward curve. It is good for oysters of all sizes but especially medium sized oysters. The tip is moderately pointed. It is also a flat blade without curves.
