Donegan LP-3 OptiVISOR Lens Plate

This Donegan LP-3 OptiVISOR Lens Plate is a separate item and does not include the headband. It is the same lens plate that automatically comes with the Optivisor headband magnifier DA-10. Donegan manufactures this in the USA.

All the lens plates are interchangeable. In other words, any lens plate will fit any headband. The two lenses in this lens plate are optical glass prismatic lenses. Donegan grinds and polishes these lenses to precision optical standards. They have a beveled edge and mounted in the interchangeable plastic frame.

It is important to note that the model number is NOT the same as the magnification. This LP-3 lens plate magnifies 3-.75 X at 14-inch focal length.

The first time a lens plate is removed from the headband the user may find it is fairly tightly attached. To successfully change the lens we suggest the following procedure:

Hold the headband in one hand and the lens plate in the other. Next gently twist them until the snaps on the lens plate pop out of the holes in the headband. The next time will be easier to snap the lens plate in and out.
