The JZ-LY 205 Ebony Beads 1/2″ x 1/8″. One will find natural materials, such as bone, horn and ebony are used to make these beads. Lanyards as well as other projects can be accented by beads. All sizes are approximate. Sold in packages of 6. They have a  3/8″ diameter and a 1/8″ hole

The purpose of the bead is to look pretty and add accents to your lanyard. A bead added to a lanyard creates a grab point. The stopper knot is another place one might find beads. Additionally,  brightly colored beads can make it easier to find your gear..

A lanyard is a longer piece of twine like paracord that ties to the end of a knife and wraps around the wrist for more security when wielding the knife. The lanyard is especially useful on larger knives. A larger knife may fall out of your hands during use. I have seen the “Forged In Fire” Judges use a lanyard or “wrist thong” when testing the contestants knives.
