In-Store Sharpening

Our Sharpening Services are available both in-store and online. For customers in the greater Kentuckiana area, we stand ready to sharpen your knives and scissors. Once you have an appointment scheduled you can simply bring your items for sharpening into the store during our operating hours. Once received, we will place a ticket on your items and your appointment will be confirmed. When the items are sharpened, we will wrap them up and contact you to advise you that they are ready for pick up. On average, knives are $8.50 each depending on the number you have.

Standard Turnaround Times:

  • Knives: Normal sharpening rotation ranges from 4 or more days. 6 knives or less is a 4 day turnaround. The number of knives determines the turnaround time. Call us for information.
  • Scissors: The turnaround time is 6 days for 2 pair. but during high-volume periods, it may extend to 10 days.
  • Manicure Implements, hand-held Garden tools and hair clipper regular service: the turnaround time is 6 days for 2 items.
  • Clipper Repair: is determined case by case

WHILE YOU WAIT: Available Wednesday through Saturday for 4 knives or less.

Rush Service: For a quicker turnaround, we offer a Rush Service for a fee of $5.00 to $10.00 depending on the number of items in your order. Every effort is made to ensure your knives and scissors are sharpened promptly.

Online Sharpening Services

We also provide Sharpening Services for our online customers. Detailed instructions for accessing these services are available when you select the appropriate item on our website. Return shipping costs are included in the listed price for each selection.
