Description

Scissors have an offset (upward) black handle making cutting easier and more comfortable on the nap of the rug surface. Please Note: These shears are used for trimming the nap of the rug. The upswept handle means your hand will not drag on the surface. They are only for trimming the top of the rug not the weave.

These scissors are forged. Forging makes them strong but also durable. Additionally, forging makes the metal harder so the scissors will stay sharp longer. Finally forged scissors are less bulky. These are decorative yet functional. Therefore, they will provide you with many years of beautiful service.

Heimerdinger can etch initials onto the scissor’s blades or the shank. The font size depends on the size of the scissors. The engraver will make that decision. We have only one type face available.
