Thread snips are essentially small scissors. Thread snips can be used for snipping threads at the beginning and end of line of stitching. They can be used to trim seam and grad allowances. The are also helpful in clipping notches when cutting out a pattern. Another use is notching along curves to reduce bulk. Finally one can use them to cut trims and elastic.
